This Privacy Policy explains what personal data (defined below) we collect in connection with the game on Apple Arcade, how we use and share that data, and your choices concerning our data practices. This policy applies only to information we collect via the Game.

PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT
Information You Provide: If you contact us directly, we will receive and process any information that you choose to include in your communication to us (for example, if you reach out to us via email in relation to an issue with the game).
Automatically Collected Information: When you interact with the Game, we may receive certain automatically collected gameplay data. This data is anonymized, meaning it isn’t linked to you or any other identifiable person. We don’t receive any personal data through the Game.
Information Stored Locally on Your Device and in Apple iCloud: Information relating to your progress through the Game is stored locally on your device and also in Apple iCloud. This enables you to continue your game where you last stopped playing.
Information relating to achievements and leaderboards is stored on your device and sent to Game Center on Apple iCloud. Your device name data is collected through the game and stored by Apple in your personal iCloud account. We do not process or have access to any of this data.
Third-Party Information Collection Through the Services: Some features of the Game are served by third parties (“Third-Party Services”). When you use the Game, certain third parties may use automatic information collection technologies to collect information about you or your device.
These Third-Party Services process your information for the purpose of providing the relevant services related to the Game such as game access, analytics, cloud services and support ticketing.

HOW WE USE PERSONAL DATA
We use your personal data to:
- provide you with customer support.
- respond to you when you contact us.
- support, maintain and improve the internal operations of the Game.
- comply with legal obligations and legal process and to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, and/or that of our affiliates, you, or other third parties.
DATA RETENTION
Any personal information obtained through support emails is deleted once the support ticket has been completed or after 30 days.
We do not sell or share personal data obtined through support emails with any third parties.
CHILDREN
Protecting the privacy of children is of the utmost importance to us and we do our best to meet both EU and U.S. standards. The game has been designed to be suitable for use by those age 9 and older. If you or the adult who created your Game Center ID set your age to “underage” then no personal data will be collected when you play the Game. To change this, speak with the adult who controls your Game Center ID.
Protostar does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 16. If we learn we have collected or received personal data from a child under 16 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 16 has provided personal data to Protostar without verified parental consent, please contact us and we will endeavour to delete that information from our databases. This in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act and Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR.
